The Journey of a Full Sleeve Tattoo

Dimitri came from Austria with a project worth making room for. This film follows the first two days of his sleeve.

A journey made for the artwork

Dimitri traveled from Austria for this full sleeve project. The film captures the first two days of a four-day sequence, bringing you close to the work while the composition is still developing.

Seeing a sleeve at this stage tells you something a single finished photograph cannot: how one area begins to give another its direction.

Watch the whole arm

Follow the movement between the subjects, the changes in contrast and the way the design occupies the arm. The smaller details matter because they belong to a larger image.

This is a progress film. The lower section is still unfinished here, so what you see is one chapter in the project rather than its final reveal.

Your project can begin with a conversation

If you are thinking about a sleeve, tell me the ideas you keep returning to. We can explore how they relate and which ones deserve the most space.

Placement, scale and the way we plan your appointments follow from that conversation. Dimitri’s schedule belongs to his project; yours will be considered around the work we create together.
