The eye draws you in. Then you notice what stands between you and it: a pattern of hexagons that feels like rain on glass.
A portrait of perception
For this full chest tattoo, I brought a colorful, realistic eye together with geometric shapes and a raindrop effect. The subject is familiar. The way you see it keeps changing.
An eye can suggest clarity, curiosity or an experience that changed your perspective. Your own connection to an image is where our conversation would begin.
Look at the relationships
As you watch, notice how the small details belong to a larger composition. The eye needs presence, the geometry needs rhythm, and the watery surface needs to feel distinct from both.
This is one reason I enjoy working at a larger scale: there is room for an image to hold your attention from a distance and reward a closer look.
See the work take shape
The film combines timelapse with real-time tattooing, giving you a closer view of the process behind the finished chest piece.
If an image keeps returning to you, bring it to our conversation. Tell me what you see in it. Together, we can explore the composition, placement and scale that give it room to become yours.
